Inyo-Mono Title Company has been serving the Eastern Sierra for nearly a century and has been locally owned and operated since 1913. It is presently owned and operated by the Core Family since 1983.

Inyo-Mono Title Company has the only complete title plant in Inyo and Mono Counties with records on
EVERY parcel of land dating back to 1860. Our office continually maintains complete copies of every document and every map that has ever been recorded in each county, in addition to many unrecorded
surveys and inspections from our own historical files and field notes. We still have on site all of our
original title searches from the early 1900’s.

We presently have 12 Title Department personnel located in our main office in Bishop having a
combined total of over 200 years experience (most of which are from searching in Inyo and Mono
county properties).

We presently have 9 Escrow Department personnel in both our Mammoth and Bishop locations having a combined total of over 125 years experience.

Why do we do it better?

We also have contract employees (in addition to our full time employees) who assist us in our recordings and date downs in Bridgeport and Independence by being able to immediately access the records up to the minute. No other title company has this advantage.

We have searched every parcel of land in both counties and we know all of the Idiosyncrasies of our
areas.

We are local and employ local people. We have the most experienced, most helpful professionals in the business. Our customer service department, run by Debbie Baker, is unmatched.

Our filed escrow and title rates are very competitive and in most cases you will find them much lower. We are more accurate. We are honest and really care about our customers and the service we provide. All of our employees take great pride in our company and the quality of work we produce. We
have a higher standard due to the fact that we are governed by the Department of Insurance and are
locally owned and controlled.

Due to our vast experience in both title and escrow, we virtually eliminate the realtor’s liability by doing our job completely and accurately.

We are underwritten by both Chicago Title and First American Title, the 2 largest title insurers in the
United States.

Other title companies can only search Inyo and Mono properties from the beginning of the computer
era which began locally here in the year 2000. All other searches have to be completed at each county seat, which causes inaccuracies not to mention delays.

If this were a 50 chapter book, we have all 50 chapters. Any other title company that ‘claims’ they can
search title in our counties really only has the book jacket. In addition to all 50 chapters, we wrote  the preamble and epilogue.

We are the experts for property here in Inyo and Mono counties appearing as expert witness’ in many
local land litigations.

Our title department searches all types of complex properties and issues many types of title
commitments including mining claims, easements, etc.

Our escrow department provides complete escrow services including normal real estate transactions;
mobile homes; business and bulk sale; holding and reservation escrows.

In addition to Inyo-Mono Title Company, we also have an ownership interest in Mountain Title
Company, located in Bishop. Mountain Title can also assist you with your escrow and title needs. You
can use Mountain Title as an alternate title and escrow company to other title and escrow companies.

The local choice is the best choice. Why use an outside company when you can use a local one?
